  1. Neil Armstrong (1930¬≠) was the first man to walk on the moon. His

  3. hallmarks of the event. Before training as an astronaut, Armstrong 
  4. was a naval aviator for three years in Korea, and a research pilot 
  5. with the Lewis Flight Propulsion Lab at the NASA Speed Flight Station.
